This smoothie can be made with fresh or frozen ingredients. The fruit is interchangeable, depending on your preferences. You can use soft tofu if you are vegan, or vanilla yogurt if you are vegetarian.
Ingredients
- 3/4 Cup of berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries) either mixed together or just one kind
- 1/3 Cup chopped kale
- 2 dates, pits removed
- 3/4 Cup yogurt OR 1/8 container soft tofu
- 1/2 Cup fruit juice (apple, orange, cranberry)
- 1 Cup alternative milk (almond, soy, coconut)
Directions
- Place all ingredients in a strong blender, Bullet or high-power mixer of some sort. Blend well. Add more milk to reach desired consistency.
