Why Should we Choose a Whole-foods, Plant-based diet?

The earth is our only home, therefore we are its caretakers. We have now reached an era in humanity's history in which it is imperative to develop mindfulness not only for our own health but also that of our home and all of its inhabitants.

There are many things we can do in our personal lives to make a difference, such as taking a proactive stance or becoming part of the global movement for planetary survival.

In committing to plant-based living, we are able to both eat and live more compassionately, respecting the long lives of our fellow sentient beings, the health and well-being of our families, and Mother Earth herself.

Sentient beings are all those that are capable of feeling and emotion. Our animal friends participate in the same life-death-rebirth cycle that we do. As such, their souls should be allowed to live out their purposes as ours do.
Our lifestyle choices can bring suffering not only to ourselves but also to other beings. By committing to a plant-based lifestyle, we can choose a more compassionate way of living that allows us to grow in empathy and help reduce the suffering on our planet.

What we choose to eat everyday has a big impact on the environment. Even small changes in what we buy and eat can make a large impact on the climate as well as our natural resources.

Many of us have the ability to choose what to eat. Through this decision we also dictate the health and well-being of our families.
However, we are not alone in this world, and the consequences of our decisions extend outward to our fellow citizens and the planet.
