Ingredients

  • 2 c. Ripe jackfruit cut into small strips
  • 1-2 Limes
  • 1 Diced tomato
  • 1/2 c. Heart of palm (optional)
  • 1/3 c. Diced jicama (optional)
  • 1/2 c. Diced red bell pepper
  • 1/3 c Cilantro
  • 1/2 Jalapeño pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp Ginger
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/2 c. Cucumber

Directions

  1. To make sauce: finely chopped jalapeño pepper put in a small bowl then add grated fresh ginger, lime juice and a little salt to taste. Mix the ingredients well.
  2. Put all the ingredients in a large bowl and add the sauce and mix everything well.
  3. Let it sit in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to let all ingredients absorb into the sauce before serving or you can serve it right away.
  4. Serve with any kind of lettuce you like. Enjoy!
