Simple 4 ingredients to make a super tasty plant-based burger (A recipe shared by #1 chef from Taiwan)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Soybeans
  • 2 cups Brown rice
  • 2 cups Mushroom stems
  • 2 cups Green peas
  • 2 tsp. Beet juice (optional)

Directions

  1. Soak 2 cups of soy bean in water overnight and cook them well
  2. Soak 2 cups of brown rice for at least 4 hours and cook them well
  3. Remove stem from mushroom and hand strip them thin (2 cups of quantity)
  4. Add 2 cups of fresh or frozen green peas
  5. 2 teaspoons of beet juice if desired can be used for coloring to make it looks like a burger
  6. Blend about only half of the ingredients to make them into meat like looking (with 2 teaspoons of oils); rest is unblended in order to keep the texture.
  7. Mix the blended veggie meat with everything else together in a big bowl by adding personal favors or spices (like salt, black pepper, turmeric power, five spice powder, soy sauce, brown sugar if desired)
  8. Make it to personal desired shape either a ball or a burger
  9. Pan fire, bake, or grill
  10. Serve them with personal preference of greens, fresh tomatoes and buns
